What Are The Pre Care Procedure?
- Do not work out the day of the procedure.
- Do not tan or have any kind of sunburns on the face.
- Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Fish Oil or Ibuprofen 24 hours before procedure.
- No alcohol or caffeine 2 days before the procedure.
- Hydrate your lips 2 days before your appointment.
- Lips must be in perfect conditions
- If you tend to get blisters (Herpes) with frequency please ask your doctor for antiviral medication to avoid activating the virus.
After Care & Healing Procedure
- You can apply an ice pack 10 minutes at a time to reduce swelling.
- Apply provided ointment several times a day to avoid swelling and dryness.
- Always tap ointment on lips with a clean Q-tip to avoid
- Do not pick or scratch lips during healing time.
- Colour will heal 50-70% once healed.
- Avoid sun and tanning beds.
- Avoid swimming, sweating, saunas or direct water pressure until lips are healed.
- Lipstick can be worn once lips are healed.
- Avoid alcohol during healing.
- Avoid oily, salty, or acidic foods.
Is There Downtime For Lip Blush?
The healing process for Lip Blush takes approximately 3-4 days. In that time you may experience some dryness and texture until the lips naturally exfoliate themselves. Aquaphor or a provided barrier cream is to be applied during the healing process.
How Long Does Lip Blush Last?
Approximately 2-3 years after you’ve received your touch up. Skin type and lifestyle can effect the longevity of your cosmetic tattoo – we can not guarantee specific results.
