FULLER BROWS FOR OILY & SENSITIVE SKIN

Eyebrow Microshading

Make-up Filled - Soft & Powder

If you’re not a good candidate for Microblading due to having oily or sensitive skin, or if you have over-plucked your eyebrows, Microshading is the best alternative. If you prefer microshading for its variety of effects and styles, you can choose the treatment as well.

From soft powder-filled brows to bold and dense eyebrows, plus an option to add the very trendy gradient effect, this enhancement is perfect for those who love the look of makeup. The amazing part is it still looks so natural!

The Instagram Brow

Microshading is a semi permanent eyebrow tattoo that gives the brows the look of wearing a bit of brow makeup, but it doesn’t wash off as makeup does. It’s done by implementing color into the skin underneath the brows, giving it a shade that gives the illusion of fullness.

It can be done in two styles: only adding a shade, or adding both a shade and hair strokes in the front or along the whole arch.

How Is It Done?

Microshading can be done either with a manual tool or with a PMU machine, which pierces the skin in countless tiny dots. In the case of hybrid brows, the strokes are done with a manual tool.

Pigments formulated for permanent makeup are injected into the skin, where they stay for up to 3 years. At that point, they should become invisible. Unless you touch them up, of course.

FAQ's

Each client experiences varying levels of discomfort during the procedure. It depends on the individual’s pain tolerance and skin sensitivity. In general, clients only feel little to moderate pain. Remember that even though microblading creates micro incisions, -they only get to the outer or superficial layers of the skin.

Microshading is a semi-permanent eyebrow treatment, and can last for 1-3 years with proper maintenance; touch-ups are recommended to lengthen results.

Since this new technique replaces the natural-looking hair strokes of microblading with small dots, it may last longer than typical microblading, with the average treatment lasting two years. Note that your skin type, aftercare routine and general lifestyle will affect how long permanent brows last.

A touch up is necessary because everyone heals differently and therefore results vary. Sometimes it is necessary to adjust the color and brow thickness by adding more strokes. In the touch up session, the final adjustments are made to assure the client’s satisfaction.

The healing process is vital to ensuring long-term success. Your technician will recommend proper cleansers and aftercare creams to help the brows heal properly and to prevent infection.

Your skin care routine might be slightly altered post-microshading as you won’t be able to wash your face or wear makeup for several days to allow the small cuts to safely scab and shed until they’re fully healed.
